What kind of things can I be seen for through Telemedicine?
You can be seen for MANY things via telemedicine. While we recommend in-person appointments for things like respiratory infections for testing purposes, things like STD concerns, cold sores, UTIs and more can be addressed from the convenience of your home. This is done quickly and efficiently for you so that you can get back to your day and get access to the medications or testing you need right when you need them without the traditional wait with another provider. Even new patients can be seen through telemedicine to address their immediate concerns!
Why in-person testing for cold/flu?
At Harmony, we have state-of-the-art testing equipment right in the office to ensure that you have the correct answer every time. No other providers in the area offer this technology and we are able to diagnose in roughly 15-minutes, making the back and forth of mis-prescribed medications a thing of the past. This significantly reduces the chances of being sick and having your antibiotic “not work”. This is a commitment we have made to patient care and antimicrobial stewardship (a fancy way of saying we won’t be the ones making super bugs with the wrong antibiotics!)
What other services do you offer and why?
We offer services ranging from primary care, aesthetics, medical weight loss, hormone optimization, medical cannabis certification, Platelet-Rich-Plasma (PRP) injections, sexual health and beyond. We even have on-site lab draw services for Quest Diagnostics in house. We offer these services for a myriad of reasons but the most important being, these are the services that our patients find are the most important to them. In order to address all patient needs, we have incorporated these services into our practice to give our patients somewhere they know and trust to receive the things they are looking for or interested in. We even train other medical professionals how to perform these services as well! The more educated and trained providers in the area, the better outcomes for our patients and our community.
